The
normal
procedure for
cleaning
laminate
flooring is
to:
-
Sweep or
vacuum
your
floor
with a
non-beater
bar
vacuum
cleaner
(use the
hard
floor
attachment).
-
Occasionally
damp
mopping
your
laminated
flooring
is
necessary.
For best
results,
add 1 cup
of
vinegar,
or 1/2
cup of
ammonia,
to one
gallon of
water.
Laminate
cleaners
are also
available.
-
DO NOT
USE
scouring
powder,
steel
wool,
floor
polish,
detergent,
floor wax
or soap.
Residue
from
these
products
bind dirt
on the
surface,
and is
extremely
difficult
to
remove.
-
Remove
stains
with
alcohol,
or a
small
amount of
acetone
on a damp
cloth.
-
Chewing
gum must
be
allowed
to dry
thoroughly
before
scraping
it off
your
laminate
floor.
Use a
dull edge
scraper.
